It fixes three bugs that may have been actively exploited by hackers, says Apple

Apple has released its newest iOS 14 build, version 14.4, which doesn’t bring any notable external changes but carries critical patches under the hood.

The two remaining bugs involve Apple’s WebKit rendering engine, which powers the Safari browser could let a remote attacker execute arbitrary code to spy on you. These, too, have been addressed with improved restrictions added in iOS 14.4.

iOS 14.4 was released in tow with iPad OS 14.4. You can update your iPhone or iPad (if you haven’t already) by going to the Settings app > General > Software Update.

The updates are available to download for users of the older iPhone 6s to the latest iPhone 12 series, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation).
