Anker, the global leader in charging technology, is coming to Kenya. The company has reportedly picked Kenya as its launch hub in the East African market thanks to the country’s exponential growth in technology use.
Anker Innovation also aims to tap into the growing use of smart devices to transact businesses. High internet usage via mobile phones also played a part in the selection which translates to a constant need to charge the devices. Anker wants to help Kenyans keep their phones powered on so they can still be able to move and transact.
“We are therefore here purposely to ensure nothing hold you back from doing your business while on the move,” said Faraz Mehdi, Anker innovations Regional Sales Head for GCC and Africa.
Anker products will be distributed via Sweech, an online platform that sells different technology-focused devices. Notably, Sweech has been selling Anker products independently for a while now. They also sell products from JBL, Fitbit, Logitech, and more.
Through Sweech, you will also be able to buy other Anker products including speakers, soundbars, headphones, earphones, and earbuds. Plus, other Anker accessories.
Sweech is going to recruit Anker distributors across the country to boost product availability to consumers.
