Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event will be hosted in Korea instead of US

We are looking forward to the next Samsung Unpacked event where the company is set to Unveil the  Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Previously, this event has always been hosted in the United States (US) or Europe (New York or San Francisco). Well, Samsung seems to be shifting focus from United States in favor of its home country. The company has officially confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be hosted in South Korea according to a report by GSMArena.

The confirmation apparently came from Lee Young-hee, the President of Samsung DX’s Global Marketing Center while attending the Samsung Ho-Am Award Ceremony in Seoul.

Why the change though? Young-hee  when asked by reporters said, “Because Korea is meaningful and important.”

Lee Young-hee didn’t reveal the exact location and date for the next Galaxy Unpacked, but rumours indicate that the event could kick off at COEX in Gangnam-Gu, Seoul. The dates are still unknown but the same rumours suggest the Galaxy Unpacked event will happen on July 26.

Apart from two new foldable phones and two new smartwatches, We expect Samsung to also unveil its first stand-alone mixed-reality (XR) headset. The headsets are co-developed with Google and Qualcomm details about it are still very scanty.

We will definitely be sharing more details about the unpacked event in our subsequent articles.
