Tecno Mobile launched the Tecno DroiPad 8II tablet into the Kenyan market. The tablet, as I had mentioned in my unboxing article the tablet is the first tablet from Tecno to be launched  Kenyan this year. You can watch the unboxing video below:

It is important to note that the Tecno DroiPad 8II is Tecno Mobile’s first Android 5.0 Lollipop Device. It is actually one of the cheapest tablets running the latest version of the Android operating system. The tablet is quite a modified version of the DroiPad 8 that was released sometime last year.

Tecno DroiPad 8II has all the features one would want in any tablet ranging from large storage, better internet speeds with 4G capabilities and as I mentioned earlier it runs on the latest version of Android OS.

The tab spots an 8.0-inch display with a screen resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, IPS capacitive touchscreen.  The dimensions are Dimensions: 211 x 123 x 8.3 mm

The tab comes with a 1GB RAM with an internal storage of 16GB. This should reduce lags one experiences when using the device. You also have an option of expanding the storage with a MicroSD. It also spots a 64-bit Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cotex-A53 processor type, Mediatek MT8753P.

Tecno also did a good job on the DroiPad 8II camera.  The front camera is 5MP, autofocus, with LED flash

While the front-facing: 2 MP with soft flash. Tecno went beyond just an ordinary tablet with the camera. The front camera is perfect for selfies and even video recording

So here is the thing, The Tecno Droipad 8II features a lithium ion battery with capacity of 5000mAh. The battery took me an entire day and a half; this is just awesome for a tablet, yes, it is 4G /LTE enabled.
