Nokia 7.2 is Now Selling in Kenya For Ksh. 34,000


HMD Global has finally announced the availability of the Nokia 7.2 in the Kenyan market. The device was launched last month and has been available for pre-order in HMD’s their list of partners including Jumia’s recently launched Jumia Mall.

“With the Nokia 7.2 we aim to push the limits on what fans can get from one of our popular Nokia 7 series smartphones. The Nokia 7.2 offers fans advanced tools to express their creativity.”  Gopher Ogembo, Senior Business Manager, HMD Global said.

The device comes with a 6.30-inch FHD+ PureDisplay with a waterdrop notch., 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie powered by a 3,500mAh battery. Remember HMD has previously used the PureDisplay is a technology on the Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 8.1.

For the cameras, the Nokia 7.2 packs a 48-megapixel primary camera at the back with an f/1.79 aperture; a second 5-megapixel camera and a third 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera is 20-megapixel with an f/2 aperture.

The phone packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB) with a dedicated slot.

It comes in Cyan Green and Charcoal grey, as from Ksh34,000. The phone comes with wireless earbuds while stocks last and is available in both Open channel and Safaricom stores.
