Nokia opens Mobile Core Early Access, giving operators a live environment to evaluate emerging network technologies
Nokia has opened registration for its Mobile Core Early Access program, giving telecom operators and enterprises access to a live, hosted environment for evaluating mobile core technologies and use cases.
The program is designed to help organizations assess emerging mobile core capabilities earlier, as network operators prepare their infrastructure for AI-driven services, automation, and increasingly demanding enterprise applications. Participants can test technologies in a live, end-to-end environment rather than relying solely on presentations or conventional demonstrations.
Nokia initially launched Mobile Core Early Access in June with 30 companies. The program is now available for registration across the wider telecommunications industry.

The environment brings together mobile core network functions, radios and devices, allowing participants to examine how new capabilities work across cloud-native network functions, user interfaces and operational processes.
Nokia said the program can also help operators and enterprises evaluate potential use cases, understand deployment requirements and assess the business value of emerging technologies before committing to broader implementation.
Participants can explore new mobile core capabilities as they become available and use the hosted environment to support technology planning, testing and internal alignment around potential deployments.
The initiative comes as telecom operators increasingly look to modernize 5G Core networks and introduce automation, analytics and network exposure capabilities to support new services and AI-related workloads.
