Nokia 2.4, Nokia 3.4 and some new Nokia accessories launched

… HMD also announced new accessories including Nokia Power earbuds and Nokia portable wireless speaker


HMD Global has unveiled two entry-level smartphones – Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4. In addition, HDM also announced new accessories including Nokia Power earbuds, Nokia portable wireless speaker and HMD Connect Pro offering enterprises a secure and transparent global data roaming service.

HMD says the diverse range of the products launched further solidifies its transformation into a holistic mobile device and service provider.

Nokia 2.4

This Nokia phone comes in two variants with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 64GB storage. It features a 6.5-inch HD  screen, a MediaTek P22 processor, Android 10 out of the box (Android 1 ready), 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the back and 5MP front camera. The battery size is 4500mAh. The phone will be available in three colour options including Dusk, Fjord and Charcoal. 

The Nokia 2.4 will be available for purchase in Kenya from next month for Ksh.14,000 for the 2/64 and Ksh.15,500 for the 3/64GB.

Nokia 3.4

The Nokia 3.4  on the other hand also comes in two variants, 3/64GB that will cost Ksh.17,000 and a 4/64GB variant that will retail at Ksh.18,000. 

The Nokia 3.4 features a 6.39-inch HD+ punch hole display 13MP + 2MP + 5MP triple rear cameras, 8MP selfie shooter, 4000mAh battery with type C USB. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 processor.

Just like the Nokia 2.4, the Nokia 3.4 will also be available in the country from next month. It will come in Fjord, Dusk and Charcoal colour options.

Other Nokia products

Also launched is a range of new Nokia-branded audio accessories featuring the Nokia Earbuds Lite, and a brand-new Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker with integrated microphone – the first in the portfolio – and new protective cases. 

HMD says the new Nokia Power Earbuds can offer 35 hours of play time and comfortable design with intuitive touch control for taking calls or skipping tracks. The earbuds are also IPX7 certified making them waterproof up to 1m for 30 minutes.

The Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker on the other hand comes integrated with a microphone and is also claimed to offer up to 4h of play time. It also includes Bluetooth 5.0 support.
