Zoho, KNCCI Partner to Accelerate Digital Transformation for SMEs in Kenya

Zoho has partnered with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to expand digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with eligible chamber members set to receive Sh65,000 in Zoho Wallet Credits to access the company’s suite of cloud-based business applications.

The strategic partnership, announced during the Zoholics Kenya 2026 user conference, is designed to help businesses adopt digital tools, enhance productivity and strengthen long-term competitiveness. The credits can be used across Zoho’s portfolio of more than 60 cloud-based applications covering functions such as accounting, customer relationship management, collaboration and business operations.

In addition to providing technology access, Zoho will offer onboarding support, product training and digital skills programmes to help businesses successfully implement the software. The two organisations also plan to hold workshops, awareness campaigns and educational events to encourage greater technology adoption among SMEs.

Premanand Velumani, Associate Director for Strategic Growth at Zoho Middle East and Africa, said the collaboration reflects the company’s strategy of working with local institutions to make digital technologies more accessible to businesses while supporting sustainable economic growth.

Zoho Kenya country head Veerakumar Natarajan said Kenya remains one of the company’s fastest-growing markets as businesses increasingly adopt digital platforms and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and remain competitive.

“As AI continues to reshape how businesses operate, organisations are increasingly choosing unified digital platforms to drive efficiency and growth,” said Mr Natarajan.

“Through this partnership we are committed to helping Kenyan businesses accelerate their digital transformation journeys while strengthening the country’s SME ecosystem.”

KNCCI Nairobi chairman Dr James Mwaura said the initiative will provide members with access to business technology as well as the training and support required to maximise its value, enabling businesses to improve their operations and competitiveness.

The announcement comes as Zoho reported 55 percent revenue growth in Kenya, driven by rising demand for integrated business software, investments in local partnerships and digital enablement initiatives. The company said its most widely used products in the market include Zoho One, Workplace, CRM Plus, CRM and Books.

According to Zoho, demand has been strongest from businesses operating in the IT and technology services, financial services, manufacturing, insurance and telecommunications sectors, highlighting the growing adoption of cloud-based business solutions across Kenya’s economy.
