ADG Wins Second Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Africa Award

Accelera Digital Group (ADG) has been named the 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Sub-Saharan Africa, marking its second consecutive win after receiving the continental award in 2025. The recognition highlights ADG’s strategic role in accelerating Google Cloud adoption and expanding its footprint across the region.

The company specializes in delivering core cloud infrastructure alongside advanced Artificial Intelligence and machine learning capabilities, positioning itself as a key enabler for Africa’s next generation of digital-first businesses. Through its solutions, ADG is helping organizations modernize operations, scale efficiently, and unlock data-driven innovation.

“The Google Cloud Partner Awards honour the strategic innovation and measurable value our partners bring to customers,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels, Google Cloud. “We are proud to name ADG a 2026 Google Cloud Partner Award winner, celebrating their role in driving customer success over the last year.”

The company addressed a major operational bottleneck for one of the continent’s leading fintech firms, Moniepoint, where manual verification of proof-of-address documents had become unsustainable. Despite expanding its KYC team from 26 to 60 staff, the company struggled to meet SLA targets. ADG implemented an automated document verification system powered by Google Cloud’s AI and machine learning services, reducing manual reviews from 85% to between 10% and 15%, while improving SLA compliance to 95%.

In addition, ADG partnered with InTouch Group to modernize its platform by rearchitecting its systems and building a more efficient, cost-optimized data pipeline using Google Cloud technologies. The upgrade enabled the fintech firm, which operates in 27 countries, to overcome performance challenges and rising operational costs on its payment processing platform.

“Our newly established marketing transformation practice, which focuses on data and Generative AI solutions for marketing functions, has landed new workloads in several key African enterprises. ADG remains committed to helping businesses scale, innovate, and create impact across the continent through Google Cloud’s technology with our local expertise,” added De Wit.
