Liquid C2’s Cloudmania adds Google Cloud for Kenyan partners

Liquid C2, through its Cloudmania business, has partnered with Google Cloud to widen access to cloud solutions, technical expertise and training for technology partners in Kenya.

The partnership will give local resellers, managed service providers (MSPs) and system integrators access to Google Cloud products, skills development programmes and new business opportunities, as demand for cloud services grows among Kenyan businesses.

It is expected to broaden the range of cloud services available to local companies and improve their access to technical expertise. Businesses will also get more flexibility in managing cloud spending through consumption-based models suited to their operations.

“Kenyan businesses want to adopt cloud with partners they know and trust. Google Cloud brings new opportunities for our channel ecosystem in Kenya, while strengthening Cloudmania’s ability to support those partners as their customers’ technology needs evolve,” said Neeraj Pradhan, VP and CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Kenya.

Technology companies will be able to earn recurring revenue from cloud consumption by building Google Cloud services into their existing customer offerings. Through Cloudmania’s marketplace, partners can find and self-provision cloud solutions, which simplifies how they select and deliver services to customers.

Multi-cloud push

“Technology partners are central to helping businesses make the most of cloud and AI. By adding Google Cloud to our portfolio in Kenya, we are giving partners more choice, while supporting them with the skills and capabilities they need to create value for their customers,” said Vinay Hiralall, chief commercial officer of Liquid C2.

The deal comes as Kenyan small and medium-sized businesses increasingly turn to multi-cloud strategies to improve resilience, flexibility and cost management.

Google Cloud joins Liquid C2’s growing multi-cloud ecosystem, which underpins its strategy of expanding cloud, AI and cyber security services across African markets through partnerships with global technology providers.

Liquid C2 is part of Cassava Technologies, whose wider infrastructure business spans fibre networks, data centres and the distribution of AI solutions across Africa.
