Nokia 2.3 is now running Android 10

Nokia 2.3 is now running Android 10. The device was launched in the Kenyan market in December last year for Ksh.12,300 alongside the Nokia C1.

Out of the box Nokia 2.3 run on Google’s Android 9.0 Pie and with the new update, it becomes the eleventh phone with the latest version of the OS in HMDs portfolio. The update brings gesture navigation, smart reply and improved privacy controls. Users will also be able to enjoy features like Family Link that’s available in the Digital Wellbeing settings and lets parents limit the usage of the device and Focus Mode, which blocks distracting apps. The focus mode is still in Beta though. Other features include dark mode, and smart reply.

Users will also get better security on the Nokia 2.3 as the latest update brought the Android security patch for April to the device. Nokia promises monthly security updates and of course they never disappoint with this.

This Android 10 update came late though as announced by HMD Global earlier this year. Of course this is due to the covid-19 pandemic.
