Airtel Kenya Revamps Amazing Data Bundles With More Data

Airtel Kenya has also launched new offers on its amazing data bundles plans. Furthermore, Airtel has also revamped its offerings on calls, both off-net and on-net.

Under the new campaign named #BeSureNaAirtel, customers will enjoy new rates on both out-of-bundle and in-bundle rates. For as low as KES 1, customers will enjoy 5MB of data when out-of-bundle. For calls, you will be charged 2 bob per minute for both on-net and off-net calls across all the networks.

The company also revamped its data plans, making them cheaper by topping up some bundles on top of the previous offerings for the same cash.

For example, under the New Amazing Data Bundles, Amazing 20 could get you 100MB valid for 24 hours, which is now 200MB under the new rates.

Higher plans like the Amazing 2000 (costs KES 2,000), which was earlier having a 25GB bundle tied to it, now has an additional 5GB, totaling to 30GB valid for a month.

  • Amazing 20 – 200MB, valid for 1 day
  • Amazing 50 – 500 MB, valid for 1 day
  • Amazing 50 – 350 MB, valid for 7 days
  • Amazing 100 – 750MB, valid for 7 days
  • Amazing 300 – 3GB, valid for 30 days
  • Amazing 500 – 5GB, valid for 30 days
  • Amazing 1000 – 12GB, valid for 30 days
  • Amazing 2000 – 30GB, valid for 30 days

To sign up for the new offer, Airtel customers have to dial *544*2#.

Update 10/12: Airtel Kenya has no expiry bundles at the moment although they have advertised so.

But there is a confusion around this point considering how they advertised their new offers. Here is what the Airtel Kenya customer care team said about the same.

We do not have a no expiry bundle.”

“However, with #BeSureNaAirtel, you get to browse at just 20 cents per MB (Ksh. 1 per 5MB’s) which has no expiry. Simply dial *544*2#.”

Compared to Kenya’s largest telco, Safaricom, Airtel Kenya has no similar offer of no expiry data for its subscribers.
