Xiaomi has today launched its flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 8 at an event held in Shenzhen China. Well, the device looks exactly like the iPhone X, probably the best iPhone X recreation we have seen in recent times. See image below.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a 6.21-inch display and is also the first device from the company with a notch housing a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The Mi 8 also comes with an aluminum frame and a curved glass panel. It also comes with a
Snapdragon 845 processor, and the new 12-megapixel dual camera setup with AI-powered features. It also comes with MIUI 10, which is Xiaomi’s Android skin latest version.
Xiaomi says the Mi 8 is also the first phone ever to use dual-frequency GPS, which is supposed to give more accurate location data.
The Mi 8 also comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Xiaomi a says 128GB and 256 GB versions will also become available. The phone is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
The company also launched a smaller device and it is calling it the Mi 8 SE which comes with a 5.88 inch display. It also features a less powerful snapdragon 710 chip and comes with a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual camera system at the rear, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
