Solar power has been in a constant state of innovation for the last decade and has seen it become the fastest growing source of new energy in the recent years worldwide. The rapid growth in technology has fueled an even faster growth of renewable energy around the world and especially in Kenya.
Renewable energy accounts for over 70 per cent of Kenya’s installed capacity compared to the world average of 24 percent, according to the Ministry of Energy. This, according to Renewables 2018 Global Status Report (GSR), has seen Kenya top in Africa and become ninth globally with a capacity of about 700 megawatts.

Cello technology, (Cell Connection, Electrically, Low Loss, Low Stress and Optical Absorption Enhancement), utilizes circular-shaped wires to scatter light more effectively for better absorption whilst reducing the electricity loss.
With enhanced temperature coefficient, these solar panels generate more electricity on sunny days and performs more efficiently on cloudy or misty days due to its low energy reduction in weak sunlight.
