Pesapal extends RACK's reach with integrated tools for retail and hospitality businesses

Pesapal, in partnership with Drift Consult, is expanding the uptake of RACK, a business management platform designed to assist retailers and hospitality operators in managing sales, inventory, and payments through a single system.

The partnership combines Pesapal’s payment processing capabilities with Drift Consult’s business advisory and technology implementation services, targeting businesses looking to streamline operations and improve oversight of their daily activities.

Under the contract, Drift Consult will guide businesses on strategy and implementation, recognizing operational gaps that technology can address. Pesapal will provide payment infrastructure for mobile money and card transactions, enabling merchants to integrate payment processing with other business functions.

RACK allows retailers to monitor sales across multiple outlets, maintain real-time inventory records, and automate payment reconciliation.

The system also caters to hospitality establishments, including restaurants and bars, through order management and checkout capabilities intended to simplify transaction handling and improve workflow during high–traffic periods.

“Businesses today need more than a payment solution; they need technology that gives them visibility across their operations and helps them make better decisions,” said Agosta Liko, Founder of Pesapal. “Our partnership with Drift Consulting brings together technology and business expertise to help retailers and hospitality businesses simplify how they operate.”

Ferdinand Eloto, Co-Founder of Drift Consulting, said RACK is designed to equip businesses with operational insights that can inform management decisions and improve productivity.

“RACK gives businesses the visibility and tools they need to understand their performance, improve efficiency, and make more informed decisions,” Eloto noted.

For small and medium-sized enterprises, incorporating these activities into one platform could minimize challenges associated with maintaining separate systems and settling data manually. However, the value will depend on how effectively the software fits into existing business processes and how consistently merchants use the information it generates.
