African Marketplace Dubai returns October 2026 for second edition

African Marketplace (AMP), the pan-continental trade and cultural platform spotlighting export-ready brands from Africa and the Caribbean, is returning to Dubai for a second edition, organisers announced.

The three-day event runs October 10–12, 2026, at the Conrad Hotel Dubai, building on the momentum of its 2025 debut.

The platform brings together entrepreneurs, creatives and innovators from fashion, furniture, art, cuisine, music, technology, wellness and intellectual capital, connecting them with global buyers, investors, distributors and cultural enthusiasts in one of the world’s most strategically connected trade hubs.

Ibukun Awosika, Founder of African Marketplace and the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy (IALA), said the inaugural 2025 edition had already proven the concept. “Dubai showed the world excellence in full expression rather than untapped potential,” Awosika said, adding that the 2026 edition builds on that foundation with greater scale and sharper commercial focus. She described the second edition as a declaration that Africa and the Caribbean are globally ready and building their own tables.

Organisers say the 2026 edition will curate a pipeline of buyers and investors ahead of the event, giving exhibitors direct, pre-arranged access to international deal-makers. Beyond booth space, selected brands will be featured in editorial spotlights, interviews and campaign content distributed through AMP’s media partners, extending visibility beyond the exhibition floor.

A significant addition this year is the formal inclusion of the Caribbean into the platform’s trade story, opening what organisers describe as a fresh corridor for African SMEs looking to diversify beyond their traditional markets and tap new categories of demand. The event will also lean on brand storytelling, connecting founders with investors, trade agencies and diaspora audiences who influence business decisions across borders, alongside peer-to-peer networking among the continent’s export-ready leaders.

Organisers say the impact is designed to outlast the three days on the ground, with pre-event coverage, on-site media and post-event features built into the campaign so exhibitors leave with content, connections and credibility that carry into the months that follow.

Exhibitor registration for African Marketplace Dubai 2026 is now open. Businesses, investors, partners and attendees interested in participating can apply at theafricanmarketplace.org/exhibit.
