Vertiv hosts first ever end user event in Rwanda

Vertiv recently hosted an end-user event in Rwanda in collaboration with PCTL Automation, a leading provider of industrial automation and process control solutions in East Africa.

The event was attended by several key decision-makers from various industries in Rwanda, including telecom tower companies and mobile network operators, with the aim of discussing and addressing their critical infrastructure challenges.

Vertiv has been increasing its market presence in Rwanda and throughout East Africa. With the recent opening of its office in Nairobi, Kenya, and its expanding distributor and partner network in Rwanda, Vertiv has been able to closely support local customers in their critical infrastructure projects. In particular, Vertiv has been providing end-to-end solutions for telecom tower companies and mobile network operators in Rwanda, including power, thermal, racks, and prefabricated modular solutions, such as the Vertiv  SmartAisle 2.

“We are thrilled to see the increasing demand for our solutions in Rwanda and across East Africa,” said Rohan Patil, regional manager East Africa, Vertiv. “We are committed to supporting our customers in their critical infrastructure projects, and we believe that our end-to-end solutions will help them to meet their business goals.”

At the event, Vertiv led presentations on some of its landmark projects in Rwanda, including data centres for the banking segment outfitted with the Vertiv™ SmartAisle™ 2, a fully integrated infrastructure solution equipped with precision cooling, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system, power management, monitoring & control technologies, and fire suppression. Vertiv also highlighted its commitment to energy and water efficiency, discussing how its solutions can help companies consume less energy and reduce their carbon footprint.

“PCTL Automation is proud to join forces with Vertiv to provide cutting-edge critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions to our customers in Rwanda,” said Kinshuk Chouksey, business development manager, East Africa, PCTL Automation. “We believe that our collaboration with Vertiv will help us better serve our customers and contribute to the development of the East African region.”

“Overall, the event was a great success, providing an opportunity for Vertiv and PCTL Automation to connect with key decision-makers in Rwanda and showcase their solutions for critical infrastructure,” said Patil. “With its expanding presence in the region and its commitment to innovation and sustainability, Vertiv is well-positioned to support the growth of businesses in Rwanda and throughout East Africa.”
