Konza City To Host High-Level Global Innovation Conference in 2024

The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) has voted to host their high-level annual conference at Konza City in Nairobi Kenya, in 2024.

The news was shared on IASP’s social media platforms, eliciting excitement among tech enthusiasts and partners.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Konza Technopolis John Tanui, wrote on his Twitter handle, “We are elated by the news of winning bid to host 2024 World Conference of International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). We thank the members for the confidence in Kenya,”

IASP is a global network of science parks and technology districts that harmonizes approaches to matters related to science and technology.

The gathering of like-minded players in their annual conference is a high-stake feat and a great honour to the host nation.

This year, the  39th IASP World Conference took place in Cartuja Science and Technology Park in Seville, Spain between  27-30 September 2022.

Kenya’s Konza City is on the way to becoming a world-class technology hub and one-of-a-kind in the continent. It is expected that by the time the conference takes place in 2024, the technopolis will have made significant progress in the development of its sluggish infrastructure.
