Infinix ZERO 5G available for pre-order in Kenya


Infinix’s first 5G smartphone, the Infinix ZERO 5G is now available for pre-order in Kenya. Leaks about the phone have been going around for a while now and Infinix is now officially making this device available locally.

Infinix says the Infinix ZERO 5G smartphone delivers the benefits of 5G – such as higher speeds, seamless connection, faster downloads and greater coverage more accessible than ever before.

“Infinix is setting a strong course in today’s fast-growing marketplace and providing innovative, yet high performance 5G technology that is more attainable to users through the new ZERO 5G smartphone,” stated Charles Ding, Deputy Product Director of Infinix Mobility. “Our innovation gives users a smartphone with better performance from a slimmer and stylish design that includes every key technology feature they are looking for in a 5G device that offers the most bang for its buck within its price range.”

Infinix ZERO 5G Specs 

As I mentioned earlier, the Infinix ZERO 5G comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 6.78-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels. We are also getting some 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Infinix Zero 5G runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W quick charge technology that Infinix claims should be able to power users through their entire day.

For the cameras, the Zero 5G on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera; a 13-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. There is a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone is integrated with a 6nm MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 master processor for high-performance gaming. It runs XOS 10 based on Android 11.

The Infinix Zero 5G is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It measures 168.73 x 76.53 x 8.77mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 199.00 grams.

Infinix ZERO 5G Availability

The Infinix Zero 5G is currently available for pre-order online at Xpark here and will. be available in outlets countrywide from 8th April at an RRP of Ksh 32,999.

It will be available in Cosmic Black, Horizon Blue, and Skylight Orange colours.
