Oppo A95 With Snapdragon 662 SoC, 5000mAh battery launched in Kenya for Ksh. 33,999

After globally announcing the launch of the OPPO A95, OPPO has announced that it’s now making it available for purchase in Kenya. 

OPPO A95 is the company’s latest addition to its A-series and can be purchased from OPPO Kenya brand stores and e-commerce platforms Jumia, Kilimall and Sky.Garden, for Ksh. 33,999.

“From work to play, OPPO A95 offers an all-round smartphone experience that allows you to take on each day with confidence,” said Muthoni Wachira, OPPO Kenya Head of PR.

OPPO A95 Specs

OPPO A95 comes with a 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

We are also getting a RAM Expansion technology, allowing it to convert unused ROM storage into RAM when manually enabled.

The OPPO A95 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports OPPO’s Super VOOC fast charging. OPPO claims the 33W Flash Charge, can reach a full charge in 72 minutes. With a 5-minute charge, users can enjoy 1.8 hours of YouTube video viewing and 5.7 hours of voice calls. OPPO has also added a series of charging features to A95 that makes charging the device safer and more convenient: Battery Guard helps personalize overnight charging intelligently, tailored to fit personal user habits; Charging Heat Control monitors heat dissipation and controls the phone’s temperature while charging to alleviate any charging-related safety concerns; and Super Power Saving Mode and Super Nighttime Standby both maximize that last leg of battery life when it is most needed.

For the cameras, the OPPO A95 packs a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2,4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

The OPPO A95 runs Color OS 11.1 is based on Android 11 and will be available in Glowing Starry Black and Rainbow Silver colour options. Both models feature OPPO’s exclusive OPPO Glow design, which gives the back cover of the phone a subtle shimmering appearance, creating a dual matte finish with glittery details.

The phone is also manufactured to be both dustproof and waterproof, with an IPX4 rating.
