Telkom Kenya’s New Subscribers Offer Now Comes With 500MB Free Monthly Data

Telkom Kenya has launched a new Welcome Offer for subscribers joining the network for the first time. The Welcome Offer will see new subscribers enjoy discounted voice and data packages from the company for the first 90 days.

To enjoy the new Telkom Kenya Welcome Offer, each new subscriber will have to activate their SIM Card with as little as KSh.20. Every successful activation will see the subscriber enjoy free 500MB data per month for the first three months.

Additionally, new subscribers will call at a discounted rate of KSh 2 per minute across all networks throughout the 90-day period. Relative to the telco’s current Pay As You Go Voice rate, the KSh 2 voice call rate across networks is KSh1.50 less.

This offer only applies to pre-paid customers.

“We welcome new subscribers to the Telkom family, to experience our voice and data propositions at an introductory offer before they make an informed decision of their long term bundle of choice,” says Telkom’s Director of Marketing, Eric ACHOLA.

Telkom Kenya offers one of the cheapest calling rates in the country, paired with its affordable data bundles. It has a variety of affordable bundle packages under the Mzito and Pawa Bundles packages.

Pawa voice bundles were revamped not long ago to offer more for the same price. The telco also has special Showmax Pro Mobile Data courtesy of an ongoing partnership with Showmax.

Showmax Pro mobile data cost Ksh 1200 and Ks 1600 per month. It includes a one-month Showmax Pro Mobile subscription and 30GB or 45GB data for watching live sports from SuperSport other entertainment content available on the video-on-demand platform.
