Huawei Kenya Donates Thermal Image Scanner To The Ministry Of Transport

Huawei Kenya has donated a thermal image scanner to the Ministry of Transport as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The scanner has already been installed at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The thermal image scanner will help the government with the ongoing fight against the coronavirus pandemic, according to Infrastructure Principal Secretary Paul Maringa.

The company says it is committed to helping the Kenyan authorities fight coronavirus. Recently, Huawei Kenya has played a significant role in connecting the Health Cs Mutahi Kagwe and other experts to their counterparts in China to share notes on the ongoing pandemic via video conference.

Kenya’s coronavirus cases have been steadily rising since the first case was reported. So far, the number of confirmed cases stood at 42, after four additional casualties were reported yesterday by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.

Globally, the number of confirmed cases has topped 723,000, with over 34,000 deaths reported at the time of writing, according to a tally from Johns Hopkins University.
