Microsoft has unveiled latest addition to its Lumia range of smartphones, the Dual Lumia 430, its most affordable smartphone expected to retail for $70.
Loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 and the Lumia Denim Update, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM comes with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office, Skype, and up to 30GB of free OneDrive storage. It also sports 8GB of internal storage, with the option to add a MicroSD card for up to 128GB.
“People around the world have responded enthusiastically to our affordable Lumia range. We continue to invest in this segment to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy signature Microsoft experiences, regardless of budget,” Jo Harlow, corporate vice president of Microsoft Phones, said in a statement.
Colour options for the Lumia 430 Dual SIM are bright orange and black, and Microsoft says the device will be available in APAC, IMEA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus from April.
Pricing will however vary by market, but is estimated to be around 70 USD before taxes and subsidies.
“The Lumia 430 Dual SIM continues our commitment to combining the right hardware, software, services, and apps with the right price to give people a smartphone they can afford and be proud to use,” Harlow added.
