At CES 2020, Asus has introduced a variant to its dual-screen laptop, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo. This year’s model is a basic model to that, which explains why the company shied from including the ‘Pro’ moniker.

Succeeding last year’s dual-screen laptop, ASUS ZenBook Duo (UX481) been new touchscreen main display option.

Instead of the 15.6-inch 4K OLED panel, Asus ZenBook Duo comes with a 14-inch panel instead. That ensures you get a smaller size and weight as compared to last year’s pro model.

Other specs have also been trimmed off a bit compared to last year’s pro model.

The auxiliary display, for example, is now measuring 12.6-inches instead of 4-inches on the Pro model.

Furthermore, the ZenBook Duo features a FHD display, which it’s no longer an OLED panel which was part of the main specs in last year’s model.

In terms of processor, you can choose between 10th Generation Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processor. Keep in mind that these are from Intel’s less powerful U-series of Comet Lake Processors which can’t be compared to the powerful H-Series.

Other hardware specs include; Bluetooth 5.0, up to 16 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, plus ultrafast storage provided by up to a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD.
