Tecno launches the Tecno Camon CM, available on Jumia for Ksh.16,999


TECNO Mobile has been teasing the Camon CM, its latest device in the Camon series for a while now. In our previous article, we mentioned that the device will hit the shelves before the end of this month, and yes, it’s finally here.

The company has announced that the Tecno Camon CM is now available on Jumia for Ksh.16,999 and is expected to to hit offline shops as from next week.  

As previously mentioned in the last teaser article we did, the Tecno Camon CM is the first full screen device from the company featuring a 5.7 inch display. The screen takes up about 83% of the phone’s front screen and it’s much bigger than the screen of its much more recent predecessors the CAMON CX and CAMON CX air, enabling a much wider viewing.  The Camon CM also features a 2.5D Third-Generation Corning Glass ensures that users enjoy superb visual effects of screen, smoother touching and protection against broken screens.

Other features include a 13MP front and rear cameras for capturing stunning portraits, and selfies. Tecno says the camera is also captures some amazing nightlife photos due to its night shot algorithm and ultra-bright flashlights. Hopefully we will be able to experience that should be lay our hands on the device.

The Tecno Camon CM also comes with a 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and  is loaded with a  3000mAh battery and runs on 7.0 android OS.

  • Android 7.0 (Nougat)
  • Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 CPU with 2GB

  • 13MP front camera also with LED flash
  • 4G LTE Data
  • Fingerprint sensor (rear)
  • 3, 000mAh removable Li-Po battery

It is currently available in City Blue, Midnight Black and Champagne Gold colors.
