Telkom Kenya is running a new promotion offering its customers more data for less. Known as Telkom Freedom Friday, the new offer will see its customers get 5GB of data for Ksh 100, valid for 48 hours each Friday for the next few weeks.
The telco is also offering double data on its standard 30GB monthly data plan for Ksh 1000. Instead, as part of the offer, customers will now get 60GB.
The latest offers will be available to select customers, including new subscribers, via *544*0# every Friday till the end of the month from 00:01 to 23:59. If you have no option, you can visit your nearest Telkom agent for the same.
Telkom Kenya Freedom Friday bundles can be purchased more than once, even before the previous ones expire. These data bundles will also be accumulated when purchased more than once, and the validity will extend appropriately.
Last week Telkom Kenya also announced a Welcome Offer for subscribers joining the network for the first time. The new welcome offer give new subscribers discounted voice and data packages in the first 90 days. Also, the telco is offering 500MB free per month for the first three months.

for the 60gb at 1000ksh, does it break it down to 2gb per day and get renewed at 12:00 each day?
Hello Jurado, the Freedom Friday 60GB does not have any daily allocation. You get 60GB in one batch.

How do you extend the Friday 5gb before 48 hours are over…I tried to do so but there is no option…please update this soon. The bundle expires on Sunday n if you try to renew the bundle, the option is not there

Telkom has been very helpful. i used about 100GB every month to browse and watch. unfortunately i live in area without fiber. the 5gb @ 100 and 60gb @ 1000 have been very helpful. i no longer spend the 300-400 a day with safcom or 100 a day w telkom lk i did in past 7 months
