This year Samsung also says the number of foldable devices allocated to each market is unlimited as compared to previous years where only limited pieces were allocated to the Kenyan market.

“Last year we sold out all our foldable devices at pre-order, meaning there is a demand for this kind of devices in this market. This year we have enough numbers available for everyone who wishes to enjoy our foldable device range” Said Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics East Africa Mr. Charles Kimari.

Globally Samsung received massive pre-orders for the new foldables. According to reports that cited unnamed industry sources, Samsung apparently received 450,000 pre-orders of both devices combined during the first week of being launched.

In Kenya, pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 can also be made online here.
