Apple has expanded its iCloud+ subscription in Kenya to include Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost, marking the first time Apple TV has been available in the country.
The updated plan, which rolled out this month, lets subscribers back up, store and share personal content across their Apple devices through iCloud, while adding Apple TV’s original series and films and more than 200 Apple Arcade games to the same subscription. Family Sharing allows the plan to be shared with up to five family members.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, said the move brings Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in more than 100 countries in one subscription. “iCloud+ users can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade,” Cue said.
iCloud+ subscriptions in Kenya start at $0.99 (Sh128) a month for the 50GB storage plan, with additional storage tiers available. The rollout runs through the end of September across more than 100 countries and regions, including India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates. Apple TV is expanding into 59 new countries as part of the update, extending its footprint to 170 countries worldwide.
Apple TV’s catalogue includes the Emmy-winning comedies “The Studio” and “Ted Lasso,” the drama “Severance,” the Academy Award-winning “CODA” and “F1,” with new releases added weekly. Apple Arcade’s library spans sports titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, alongside originals and App Store hits, with no ads, no in-app purchases and offline play.
Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be sold as standalone subscriptions in Kenya once the rollout is complete. Users currently on individual plans will continue to have uninterrupted access through iCloud+, with their standalone subscriptions cancelled and Apple Arcade game progress preserved.
The plan also adds Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations, and a discounted Apple Music subscription rate of $2.79 (Sh360) a month for individuals or $4.49 (Sh580) for families when added directly through Apple. iCloud+ subscribers retain access to other premium features including event creation in the Apple Invites app and enhanced privacy tools.
