NCBA and Mwalimu SACCO Launch a Payroll Tool Built for Faster Salary Processing

Mwalimu National DT SACCO has partnered with NCBA Bank to launch Salo Xpress, a new digital payroll management solution aimed at helping organizations process salaries faster, improve transparency, and gain greater control over payroll operations.

The platform is designed to address the growing demand for efficient payroll administration by enabling employers to manage salary payments seamlessly while accessing real-time information on payroll processing.

Additionally, Salo Xpress offers organizations enhanced visibility across the payroll cycle, faster salary processing, real-time tracking of payment status, simplified reconciliation through detailed reporting, and improved operational efficiency.

The launch, however marks a crucial step in the ongoing digital transformation efforts within Kenya’s financial and cooperative sectors, where organizations are increasingly seeking automated solutions to streamline administrative processes and reduce turnaround times.

Speaking during the launch, Mwalimu National DT SACCO National Chairman said the solution reflected the SACCO’s commitment to innovation and developing practical financial solutions that respond to the changing needs of institutions and employers.

Mwalimu National DT SACCO Chief Executive Officer said the platform was developed to help organizations improve payroll accuracy, reduce operational bottlenecks, and access real-time information to support decision-making.
