Xceed365HR Unveils Agentic HR Platform Designed for African Enterprises
The company's rebuilt V3 platform uses AI agents to automate onboarding, payroll, compliance and workforce operations across multiple markets.
Xceed365HR, Africa’s leading indigenous enterprise HR software provider, has unveiled Version 3 (V3), which it describes as the continent’s first agentic enterprise HR ecosystem. The new platform is designed to enable large organizations to manage their workforce through autonomous AI-driven processes, significantly reducing manual intervention and lowering total cost of ownership (TCO) by up to 70 % compared to global Tier-1 HR software providers.
Traditionally, HR functions such as employee onboarding and multicurrency payroll require extensive manual data entry, document uploads, and navigation across multiple systems. With V3, these processes are streamlined through a conversational interface. For instance, an HR manager can send a text or voice command through Microsoft Teams instructing the system to onboard a new employee. The AI agent then automatically retrieves employment documents, extracts relevant information, performs compliance checks against local regulations, creates payroll profiles, and initiates personalized onboarding workflows.
The launch comes as organizations increasingly seek practical applications of artificial intelligence. According to Deloitte’s 2026 State of AI report, while 60 % of enterprise software solutions claim to incorporate AI capabilities, only 20 % of organizations have successfully addressed the governance requirements needed for autonomous deployment. Xceed365HR says its platform is built to address Africa’s unique regulatory complexities by embedding compliance requirements directly into its workflows, including payroll and statutory deductions across multiple jurisdictions.
“Rebuilding a live platform from the ground up while running operations for enterprise clients across Africa was a bold move, but it was necessary,” said Chuma Chukwujama, CEO and Co-founder of Xceed365HR. “We have built an infrastructure that global competitors cannot simply ‘localize’ their way into. Today, we lead in agentic HR, not just in Africa, but against the best in the world.”
V3’s intelligence is powered by a proprietary five-layer architecture that enables the platform to understand, decide, act, and secure operations autonomously. Users begin their journey through the System of Engagement, interacting with the platform using simple conversational commands rather than traditional software interfaces. Those requests are then handled by the System of Agency, where AI agents analyze intent and independently perform complex HR tasks.
Furthermore, the resulting actions are executed through the System of Work, which manages everything from payroll processing and recruitment to compliance administration. Supporting these functions is the System of Context, a layer that continuously aligns AI decisions with company-specific data and evolving local regulations. Wrapping the entire ecosystem is the System of Trust, a robust security framework built around ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II standards, ensuring agents respect organizational access controls and that customer information remains secure and private.
Beyond HR automation, Xceed365HR is extending its value proposition through two financial services tailored for African enterprises. Early Bird gives employees controlled access to a portion of their earned salaries before payday, while Pulse automates salary, pension, and tax disbursements through direct links to regional banking infrastructure.
“The engineering feat here is that existing enterprise customers can transition to Version 3 with zero data migration, supported by a three-month parallel access period,” noted Duke Obasi, CTO and Co-founder. “We chose a true agentic architecture over legacy retrofits. We are engineering against global standards, solving ground-level complexities, and winning.”
Trusted by some of Africa’s most influential institutions, including First Bank, Fidelity Bank, Union Bank, Zenith Bank, Nembe, and Seplat Energy, Xceed365HR is set to deploy V3’s AI-driven capabilities to both existing and new customers across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates. By reducing HR operating costs by up to 63%, V3 empowers African enterprises to manage their workforce using technology designed for their unique business realities rather than solutions developed for Western markets.
