Kenya Airways and Accor Collaborate to Offer Integrated Travel Rewards
Kenya Airways has entered into a strategic partnership with Accor through its ALL Accor loyalty and booking platform, becoming the first African airline to collaborate with the globally recognized programme.
The partnership will allow members of Kenya Airways’ Asante Rewards and ALL Accor to seamlessly earn and redeem points across both platforms, offering travelers greater flexibility and enhanced value across flights, hotel stays, and lifestyle experiences.
Under the arrangement, 3,000 Asante Rewards points can be converted into 1,000 ALL Accor Reward points, while 3,000 ALL Accor points can also be exchanged for 1,000 Asante Rewards points. Travelers will gain access to benefits across Accor’s network of more than 5,800 hotels and 45 brands globally, including complimentary stays, in-hotel privileges, and exclusive experiences, while ALL Accor members will also enjoy Kenya Airways flight rewards and travel-related perks.
Speaking on the collaboration, Julius Thairu, Kenya Airways Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, noted, “This collaboration represents a significant milestone not only for Kenya Airways, but for African aviation. As the first airline on the continent to partner with ALL Accor, we are proud to give our loyal customers even more ways to earn, convert, and redeem their rewards across a world of travel and hospitality experiences. As we continue to enhance our offering, Kenya Airways has increased daily frequencies to Paris, reintroduced the previously grounded Dreamliner into service, and will deploy a higher-capacity Boeing 777 on the London Gatwick route to meet peak season demand.”
“Our partnership with Kenya Airways marks a pivotal moment, responding to the demand for connected, experience-driven travel across Africa and the Middle East, where loyalty is key. By bringing hospitality and aviation together, we’re significantly enhancing the ALL Accor ecosystem by providing members with seamless access across our 45+ brands, from luxury to economy, including stays, dining, and exclusive events. This collaboration empowers our members with greater flexibility, stronger recognition, and more avenues to transform points into truly meaningful travel experiences,” said Kerry Healy, Chief Commercial Officer for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy brands in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
Raki Phillips, Regional President for Premium, Midscale and Economy, Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye at Accor, said the partnership highlights the increasing connectivity between Africa and the Middle East as major travel markets continue to grow. He noted that the collaboration is designed to create a smoother and more rewarding travel experience for customers, particularly in Kenya, which remains a key market for the company.
“This partnership reflects the growing momentum of Africa and the Middle East as increasingly connected travel markets. For our guests, this makes travel feel easier and more connected. Kenya is a key market for us, and through this partnership, their journey flows seamlessly from flight to stay, earning and redeeming along the way. It’s about simple, intuitive experiences that feel genuinely rewarding, wherever they go.”
The partnership brings together Kenya Airways expanding international network and Accor’s global hospitality presence, which includes more than 5,800 properties in over 110 countries. Accor’s portfolio spans economy, premium and luxury brands such as ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Swissôtel, Sofitel, Fairmont, and Raffles.
Through the collaboration, members will be able to redeem loyalty points for Kenya Airways flights across its regional and international destinations, including routes operated by its SkyTeam partners. Customers will also gain access to benefits such as airport lounge access and additional baggage allowances. On the hospitality side, points can be redeemed across Accor’s global network for hotel stays, dining, wellness services, and lifestyle experiences, providing travelers with greater flexibility and enhanced value from their loyalty rewards.
Accor said its ALL Accor programme now has more than 100 million members globally and continues to play a key role in driving customer engagement across its hospitality ecosystem. Members of both loyalty programmes can immediately access the new benefits through their respective platforms.
