vivo V23 5G Smartphone Officially Launched in Kenya


vivo smartphone has officially launched the vivo V23 5G in Kenya, its latest smartphone in the V series. 

The Vivo V23 5G is a camera focused device and comes with a unique rear panel that changes color when exposed to UV light and sunlight. It’s also the company’s first 5G device in the market. 

vivo says demanding consumers, style-conscious trendsetters and high-performance photographers will find the V23 5G provides an ideal combination of design elegance, premium photography features and 5G performance for gaming as well as mission-critical and resource-intensive apps.

vivo V23 5G sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

For the cameras, we are getting a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.89 aperture lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. At the front there’s a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/2.28 aperture lens.

vivo V23 5G packs a 4,200mAh battery and support 44W fast charging. The smartphone ships with Android 12 and FuntouchOS 12.

vivo V23 5G comes in two colour variants, namely the Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black. Although, the Gold version is the variant that features colour changing glass rear panel.

The V23 5G will be available in Kenya at a retail price of Ksh. 59,999. Pre-orders start today till the 27th while the official sales will go live on February 28th.
