OPPO is set to unveil its latest device under the Reno Series, the OPPO Reno4 in the Kenyan market this September. The device is the successor of the OPPO Reno3 (Review) that was launched in the country in April this year.
The phone has already been launched in other markets like India and China and comes with 6.40-inch touchscreen display. Oppo Reno 4 is powered by an octa-core processor and comes with 8GB of RAM, similar to what we saw on the Reno3.
“With the Reno4 we have ensured that the device can meet the ever-changing requirements of the young trendsetting generation and also keep them up-to-date with the latest trends in smartphone technology,” said Muthoni Wachira, Head of Communications & Projects at OPPO Kenya.
For the first time in Reno Series OPPO is introducing a brand new design technique called “Reno Glow.” This is an innovative back cover design that combines a matte fingerprint-resistant texture with subtle glittery details, which gives the Galactic Blue colour a more vibrant and glossier look.
Other OPPO Reno4 features to expect include 4015mAh non-removable battery, a 48-megapixel primary camera; a second 8-megapixel camera; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The selfie camera will be 32-megapixel.
The OPPO Reno 4 runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot. It will be available Glacial Blue and Space Black colours.
