The OPPO F5 Youth is here, pre-order one from Jumia for Kshs. 26,990.

OPPO has announced the launch of the OPPO F5 Youth in Kenya. The device is the sister version of the recently launched OPPO F5 and is currently available for pre-order exclusively on Jumia for Kshs. 26,990.

Remember, during the OPPO F5 launch, OPPO announced that the OPPO F5 Youth will be available in the country on a date it did not specify, but it looks like the company decided to bring the device much earlier.

The OPPO F5 Youth features a 16MP Selfie camera, a 13MP rear camera, and a 6-inch Full-screen of 2160 x 1080 resolution (FHD+).  As the well-known Selfie Expert and camera phone leader, OPPO  says it is stepping forward and has upgraded the built-in Beautification technology by the smart Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) on the OPPO F5 Youth.

Other upgrades on the OPPO F5 Youth include optimizations that come with over 200 facial recognition spots that OPPO says can distinguish users’ facial features from skin tone, type, gender, and age.5

῎This is to enable more users uncovering the real and natural beauty of Selfie and to unfold the vigor of inspiring life moments. The Selfie expert and leader OPPO developed the Youth version to meet the varied needs. The OPPO F5 Youth brings the same personalized beautification feature which first appeared on F5, and the FHD+ and Full-screen along with other emerging cool functions, such as the speedy Facial Unlock῎.  OPPO Kenya Brand Director, Jesse Wu said.

Other features include a 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM expandable to 256GB and 2.5GHz Octa-core CPU processor.  It comes with a 3200mAh battery and the OPPO’s ColorOS 3.2.

As we mentioned the F5 Youth will be available for pre-order exclusive at Jumia from 4th December and is expected to be available countrywide from December 2017.
