Vivo V19 Launched In Kenya for Ksh 40,999

Vivo has officially launched its cutting-edge selfie citric smartphone, the vivo V19 in Kenya.

The device will be available for Ksh 40,999 and you can pre-order one at vivo outlets across the country starting today. Official sales will start on the 2nd of July.

Just as we had mentioned in the first article we did, the vivo V19  features a dual punch-hole camera and Super AMOLED FHD+ Ultra O Screen design.

“vivo is committed to innovating with the consumer in mind, and the V19 reflects our deep understanding of consumers’ needs. With industry-leading selfie technology, a beautiful design, and strong performance, V19 is perfect for young consumers who care about the camera and entertainment features” said Arthur Xian, vivo Kenya CEO.

Just like all vivo V-series flagships, the vivo V19 is a camera-centric smartphone that focuses on improvements in low light photography.

vivo V19 comes with an L-shaped quad rear camera with a LED flash placed on the top left corner of the phone. The setup packs a 48-megapixel main shooter with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and two 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 aperture for macro and bokeh functions. The Dual Punch Hole Camera setup on the other hand is housed in a pill-shaped cutout and features a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. Features include super night selfie, super wide-angle selfie, ultra-stable video, and much more which we will definitely try out when vivo sends us a review unit.

“V19 is a trendsetting smartphone built to complement young consumers’ lifestyles. Uniquely designed with a dual front camera that offers significant advantages for selfie lovers over other smartphones in its class, V19 is a breakthrough for the Kenyan market,” added Arthur Xian.

V19 has a powerful AI Quad Camera at the rear, made up of a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera. Along with Ultra Stable Video, V19 is packed with AI image and video features, including AI Video Filters, AI Video Editor, and AI Image Matting for professional-grade editable videos.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 712 processor,  the V19 is equipped with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM . It comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology which the company says enables a 0 to 54 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

It will be available in Gleam Black and Sleek Silver options.
