TECNO Camon 16s Unboxing: TECNO’s latest budget phone in the Kenyan market is the TECNO Camon 16s. The phone went on sale about two weeks ago and the company is selling it for Ksh.17,699.
We did a quick short unboxing video which you can watch below.
Inside the packaging you have:
- The device Iitsel
- 10W power brick
- A micro-USB charging cable
- A pair of earphones
- A Sim ejector tool
- A screen protector and
- a plastic case
Its a beautiful phone featuring a 6.6 inch 720p Dot-in IPS LCD display with a punch hole on the top left.
On the left side, there’s the volume rocker and the power buttons. The left side has the dual nano-sim card slot with an additional slot for a MicroSD card. At the bottom, is where we have the headphone jack, micro-USB port, microphone and speaker grille.
At the back, you have the TECNO Camon logo located at the bottom. Moving up, you have the rectangular camera bump that houses the 48MP quad AI setup, a 2MP depth sensor, 2MP macro lens and an additional AI sensor and quad-LED flash too. It is also at the back that we have the fingerprint sensor.
TECNO Camon 16s runs on a MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with Power VR GE8320 GPU. It is available in one memory configuration: 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM but can snap in a microSD card for more storage space.
It boots on Android 10, with HiOS v6.1 on top. On the camera side, as we have highlighted earlier, the device comes with four lenses on the back and a single 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The battery size is 5,000mAh.
You can buy the phone in two colours, Seabed Blue and Ice Jadeite, now available for Ksh 17,699.
