Samsung Galaxy Unpacked: How to watch and what to expect


Samsung is expected to host its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year on Wednesday. There is so much to look forward to apart from of course the companyā€™s next foldables.

Samsung has been sending out teasers for the event terming it ā€œOn the Flip Sideā€. For the first time, Samsung will also be hosting the event in Seoul, South Korea and not the US as it has always done.

Just like you, we are also curious to see what Samsung has in store for us. What weā€™re sure is Samsung is indeed hosting the event on the 26th of July, 2023 at 14:00 local time.Ā 

Where can you watch Galaxy Unpacked?

There are several places you can watch Galaxy Unpacked event.Ā  You can live stream it from Samsungā€™s website or on Samsungā€™s YouTube channel.Ā 

We will also embed the livestream link on top of this article as well as on our socials to make sure you donā€™t miss out on anything.Ā 

Locally, Samsung has also sent our media invites to select bloggers and tech journalists including us for a live stream.Ā Ā 

What should you expect?

Samsung has released its ā€œJoin the flip sideā€ digital out-of-home (OOH) advertisements one by one at landmarks across the world.Ā Ā 

Seventeen digital OOH advertisements are currently on display across various locations in 13 countries: including the Gangnam District, Seoul Tower and COEX in Seoul, Korea; Times Square in New York City, U.S.; Piccadilly Circus in London, U.K.; CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand; Tai Koo Li in Chengdu, China; and King Road Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The digital OOH advertisements showcase the overarching theme of the products that will be unveiled at this yearā€™s Galaxy Unpacked.

Based on the leaks we have seen so far, itā€™s clear that the new foldable phones are expected to bring improved durability, performance, and battery life and we canā€™t wait.

Apart from two new foldable phones and two new smartwatches, We expect Samsung to also unveil its first stand-alone mixed-reality (XR) headset. The headsets are co-developed with Google and Qualcomm details about it are still very scanty.
