Safaricom has dropped 4G Wi-Fi routers prices by up to 40%

Safaricom has announced a drop in the prices of its 4G Wi-Fi routers by 40%. This makes the Safaricom home WI-FI one of the most competitive products in the market as internet continues to shape and influence modern living.

In a raft of changes, aimed at increased market penetration, the company is now offering its ADRIAN router at Ksh 5,999/-, down from Ksh 9, 999, saving the consumer a sizeable Ksh 4, 000. The HUAWEI router which was retailing at Ksh 10,999 is now priced at Ksh 6,999. Additionally, Safaricom is offering 30 GB FREE data Welcome Bundle valid for 30 days, on every router purchase.

The different packages range from as low as Ksh, 2,999 for 90 GB monthly data volume to Ksh, 12, 499 for up to 4000 GB of data a month. All packages are capped at 5Mpbs.

Since the launch of Safaricom Home Fibre in 2014, the telecommunications giant has cut a niche in internet services, earning it a place among the most reliable providers. The company has the widest 4G coverage in the country, allowing people from all walks of life to enjoy uninterrupted internet connection with little latency.

The reduction of prices on Safaricom routers comes at a time when more people are working remotely and the government is laying emphasis on creating a more robust digital space. With these efforts, Safaricom will be a go-to choice for people working from home or those seeking affordable internet for their entertainment.
