Redmi A1+ Unboxing and First Impressions Review


Redmi A1+ Unboxing: The was launched in Kenya last week. The entry-level smartphone runs Android Go and joins the range of pocket-friendly Redmi smartphones launched in the Kenyan market this year.

The phone will retail at the recommended retail price of KES 10,499 and will be available in 2GB+32GB storage configuration. You can buy one starting today through Xiaomi Stores, Jumia and partner stores around the country.

Redmi A1+ sports a 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+). The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

It’s an Android 12 Go Edition phone and draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging.

For the optics, we’re getting an 8MP rear camera assisted by a 0.3MP depth sensor and a 5MP camera on the front.

Redmi A1+ come in Black and Light Blue, all with a stylish flat-frame design. Our Redmi A1+ Unboxing unit was in Black.
