vivo Y20 with AI Triple Camera and a Side Fingerprint Scanner launching in Kenya

vivo Smartphone is preparing to launch a new mid-range smartphone, the vivo Y20 in the Kenyan market. The device according to the company will be launched on 8th October 2020 and will be a new addition to vivo’s youth-oriented and affordable Y-series.

The launch also comes just a month after vivo launched the vivo Y30 that was exclusively available on Jumia for Ksh.16,999.

The vivo Y20 will come with a 6.51-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, some 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.

For the cameras, the vivo Y20 will come with a triple camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a second 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. The selfie camera on the other hand will be  8-megapixel with an f/1.8 aperture.

The Vivo Y20 will runs Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.

vivo has not mentioned anything about the pricing and availability of the phone but says customers will have two eye-popping colour options to choose from which as far as we know are Obsidian Black and Dawn White colours.
