Pre-orders for the Huawei Y9a open in Kenya

Huawei Mobile Kenya has today opened pre-orders for Huawei Y9a in the country. Pre-orders can be made across all Huawei retail stores in the country including Jumia and will end on 30th of September. 

The Huawei Y9a pre-orders will see consumers pre-book the devices by paying Kshs 2000 deposit ahead of its official launch on 1st October.  All PRE- ORDERS will have a FREE Powerbank worth Kshs 3,499. 

The Huawei Y9a features a 6.63-inch TFT LCD panel with 2400 by 1080 pixels in resolution. It’s powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor composed of two high-performance Cortex A75 core CPU and six other low-performance cores.

The device has a circular shaped camera module at the back that houses four cameras: a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel lenses for macro and depth sensing. On the front, Huawei Y9a is equipped with a 16-megapixel pop-up camera.

Other features include some 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage and 4300 mAh battery 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

“We are encouraging our consumers to visit our retail stores and get to interact with our latest device ahead of its availability in the market as of 1st October.” Huawei Mobile Country Head Zhujie said.

”Our strategy this year is to place Huawei Devices to as many consumers as possible and ensuring that we remain top of mind when it comes to best smartphones in Kenya and world over,”  he added.
