TECNO SPARK 3 Launching Soon; Here’s What We Know

TECNO Mobile is set to unveil its next device in the SPARK series, the SPARK 3. The company has started sending out teasers for the device although it does not say when exactly it will unveil it in the market.

Remember TECNO first introduced the SPARK series in August 2017 targeted for the mid-range smartphone market. The series, according to TECNO was meant for price-conscious consumers who would want to spend more than Ksh.10,000 on a smartphone.

The SPARK 3 seeks to build on the achievements of its earlier siblings, the SPARK (SPARK K7 and SPARK Plus K9) which were the most sold devices from TECNO in the country in 2017 and the SPARK 2. The SPARK 2 was a good device although one of the major disappointments was that it lacked 4G LTE support.

Little is being said about the TECNO SPARK 3 specs although we expect some little improvements from what we saw on the SPARK 2 and probably a slightly higher price of maybe Ksh.12,000. The device might also come in two variants just like its predecessor.

Something we should probably also look out for is the AI cameras. We have seen this will almost all mid-range devices that have recently been launched in the market. The device might also come with Android Pie out of the box.

Other features to look our for also include facial recognition and improved storage capacity.

The TECNO SPARK 3 is being launched just after Infinix unveiled the HOT 7. Huawei also unveiled the Y6 Prime 2019 just the other day and TECNO’s plan with this new device could be to probably counter Huawei and Infinix.

As mentioned the device is launching soon and we will be sure to share more details as soon we get them.
