Infinix and Kangundo Subcounty conduct a clean-up day in Kangundo town

“The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.” this a quote from Lady Bird Johnson on the need to have a clean and safe environment.

A clean environment ensures the continued existence and survival of all life. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring this, be it co-operates or individuals.

Last week, Infinix in conjunction with Eye-Deal Generation Youth Group and Kangundo Subcounty conducted a clean-up day at Kangundo town in Machakos County.  The clean up involved general cleaning of drainages, garbage collection, main highway brushing, slashing and clearing bushes and litter collection and bin installation.

Everyone needs a clean environment so that we can live healthy lives and leave future generations a healthy Earth. Despite there being changes in the environment in every time period, the biggest and most negative changes are happening today. The government cooperates and lots of other people are doing everything they can to raise awareness about the importance of a maintaining a clean and healthier environment. Unfortunately, it just isn’t enough. The only way we are going to achieve a clean environment is if everyone works together to take care of the environment.

Th cleanup exercise,  according to Infinix is part of the company’s aim of making a difference in communities around them.
