New ASUS TruVivid technology improves color clarity and brightness, while the IPS panel delivers crisp and detailed visuals with ultra-wide 178? viewing angles. Scratch-resistant Corning Fit Glass and a textured chassis design that prevents hand slippage ensure Nexus 7 is incredibly robust and meets the demands of consumers on the go.

With an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, everything is faster – pages load quickly, gameplay is smooth and responsive, and running multiple apps is a breeze. A 12-core GeForce GPU delivers advanced graphics while the exclusive 4-PLUS-1CPU design gives you maximum performance when you need it and power efficiency when battery conservation is the priority. Together with heart-pounding quad-core performance, the responsive 10-finger multi-touch screen, gyroscope and accelerometer sensing enable you to barrel roll, tilt, touch, and tap your way to the top of the leaderboards while exploring over 600,000 apps and games available on Google Play.

The clean, simple design features a slim body, a thin bezel and a soft-touch, matte back. So it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand while the bright, beautiful 7″ display brings your entertainment to life.

At just 0.64lbs (290g), Nexus 7 is light enough to take anywhere and fits easily in bags, backpacks, and even back-pockets. With up to 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing or e-reading, there’s plenty of juice to get you through the day, and built-in wireless charging means you can charge, grab, and go.

Another wow fact about the gadget is the fact that the there is no space between screen and the body its all way glassy. Simply awesome

Nexus 7 is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of the world’s most popular mobile platform. With smarter notifications that let you respond quickly, beautiful new widgets that put your favorite content front and center, and home screen customization that’s drag-and-drop easy, Android is now faster and more intuitive than ever.

However, the Nexus 7 is only WiFi enabled and lacks GSM. It also lacks a memory card slot thus one can’t expand the internal memory though the memory is large enough to accommodate much data. It also comes with a nice screen that is colorful. The name Nexus is also encrypted at the back making it look pretty and also ASUS at the far end. There is a USB port at the bottom and earphones port at the top on the left hand side.

To unlock the screen, there is a button on the right hand side edge of the gadget followed by another button that enables one increase music volume. Something more interesting is the fact that the gadget has a limit to volume and in case you would want to increase past the limit, the gadget has to send a request.
