Samsung Galaxy A10s Officially Announced with Dual Rear Cameras and a 4000mAh battery

Although the news comes at a time when the Note 10 buzz is still simmering, this is not as big news as you can tell. Even Samsung knows, it is just a mid-range device which shouldn’t be much-paid attention for, explaining the “average” way of the announcement the company did revealing the Galaxy A10s today. You might have even missed the news, by the way.

Samsung Galaxy A10s is a mid-range device from Samsung still on the Galaxy A series. Samsung Galaxy A10s has a 6.2-inch Infinity V-display with 720 x 1520 resolution. The display moniker Infinity-V hints a selfie camera placed in a waterdrop notch, which is clocked in at 8MP.

On the rear, the device packs a fingerprint sensor and a Dual camera setup made of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Despite the presence of the fingerprint sensor Galaxy A10s still supports face recognition.

Under the hood is an unspecified Octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.0GHz and the remaining four clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If that is not enough you can still expand using a microSD card, as usual for most of Samsung’s devices expect the Galaxy Note 10 of course.

A 4000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A10s, and it runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. You can get the device in four variant colors; Blue, Green, Red, Black. Comparing these specs to what the Galaxy A10 offers, the Galaxy A10s is a major upgrade. Since the A10 sells in Kenya at around Ksh 12,000, Galaxy A10s will possibly be priced somewhere around this point.

Samsung hasn’t revealed any further details about the device, which sounds strange but we will keep you updated when they do.
