Huawei nova 9 launches in Kenya for Kshs 65,999


After opening pre-orders for the Huawei nova 9 two weeks ago, Huawei Mobile Kenya has today announced that the device is now available for purchase in the country.

The Huawei nova 9  comes with a 6.57-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor that features 4 cores clocked at 2.42GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.

As far are the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Nova 9 on the rear packs a quad-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. There is a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

Running on the latest version of EMUI 12, Huawei says the nova 9 provides smooth and fast control response as well as app launch experience.

Again, the phone ships without Google’s apps or services, including the Google Play Store. You can however still get to download some of your favourite apps from the Huawei App Gallery.

Customers in Kenya can purchase The Huawei nova 9 from all retail stores across the country including Huawei Experience stores.
