Huawei Launches Watch Fit 4 and Band 10 in Kenya

Huawei has launched its latest wearable devices in Kenya — the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Huawei Band 10.

Launched on Friday, these wearables bring advanced health tracking, pro-level outdoor features, and stylish design to the growing number of digitally connected Kenyans.

The launch follows the global debut in May and highlights Huawei’s deepening commitment to Kenya’s fast-growing tech and wellness space.

“These devices are slim, smart, and powerful, designed for both fitness enthusiasts and everyday users,” said Jin Renbin, Device Manager, Huawei Kenya. “Kenya is a rising digital wellness hub, and we’re proud to bring global innovation to support that growth.”

Staying true to Huawei’s “Fashion Active” philosophy, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 delivers bold aesthetics with practical innovation. Weighing only 27 grams, it comes equipped with a 400mAh battery offering up to 10 days of usage on a single charge. Its signature rectangular display remains intact, now housed in an even slimmer, more vibrant form factor.

Meanwhile, the ultra-light Band 10 (just 15g) delivers up to 14 days of battery life and is ideal for students and first-time fitness users.

Both devices support fast charging. Huawei claims a 5-minute charge delivers 2 days of use for the Band 10, and come with powerful health features, including continuous heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring, sleep insights, 24/7 Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis and smart notifications via the Huawei Health app

“We’re integrating AI more deeply into health tracking,” added Adam Lane, Huawei Kenya’s Policy and Partnerships Manager. “From cardiovascular monitoring to emotional wellbeing, we’re helping users take control of their health in real time.”

The WATCH FIT 4 is built for outdoor enthusiasts, offering advanced features like dual-band GNSS tracking, topographic maps, barometric elevation, watersports tracking, and freediving support up to 40 meters.

Huawei has tailored its fitness modes for popular local activities like running, walking, and cycling, and is exploring partnerships with Kenyan health tech startups and universities for regional data integration.

“We’ve taken a localized approach to ensure relevance,” said Wilfred Odera, Huawei Kenya’s Marketing Manager. “We want these wearables to become everyday wellness companions for Kenyans.”

Both devices work seamlessly with Android and iOS, pairing easily through the upgraded Huawei Health app, which now includes personalized coaching and smart control features.

Customers can now purchase the wearables at Huawei retail partners nationwide, including Anisuma, Miniso, and Phone Place. Price is

  • Watch Fit 4: KES 19,999 (discounted from KES 21,999)
  • Band 10 (Aluminium Alloy): KES 7,999 (from KES 8,999)
  • Band 10 (Plastic Case): KES 6,999 (from KES 7,999)

Huawei says it is also working with local telcos and retailers to roll out installment plans, bundles, and seasonal promotions to increase accessibility.

“Affordability doesn’t mean compromise,” said Jin Renbin. “We’re delivering premium features with retail strategies that make innovation accessible to every Kenyan.”
