TECNO opens pre-orders for the Phantom X2 series in Kenya


TECNO Mobile on Thursday opened pre-orders for its upcoming flagship model Phantom X2 series in Kenya. The pre-orders will run from January 5, 2023, to January 18, 2023.

Customers can pre-order the Phantom X2 series which comprises the Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro from authorized TECNO branded shops, TECNO Official Website and partners including Safaricom Shops and Jumia. They can do this by depositing either Ksh 6,000 or Ksh 8,000 for the X2 or the X2 Pro respectively.

TECNO says customers who preorder the device will receive an exclusive smartwatch and a wireless headset for Phantom X2 Pro and a smartwatch and a quality backpack for Phantom X2.

At the same time, the Chinese smartphone maker also announced Kenyan two-time Olympic champion, Eliud Kipchoge EGH as the brand ambassador for the Phantom X2 series.

TECNO Brand Manager Mr Antony Brian Otieno said the partnership with Kipchoge was informed by its pioneering brand PHANTOM.

Commenting on his new partnership with TECNO, Kipchoge saidĀ Innovation is the most important part for anybody to improve. ā€œI am excited to partner with the worldā€™s pioneer in innovation and technology to achieve this.ā€ Mr Kichoge reiterated that environmental protection is the most important part of protecting the next generation.

He said that the PHANTOM series devices are made from recyclable materials which makes the partnership golden.
