Twitter was down for thousands of users on Tuesday. Outage tracking website Downdetector.com showed more than 32,000 outage reports.
The outage also affected users in Kenya who went to the polls on Tuesday. Users in the country reported their tweets being unable to load.
Twitter has confirmed the outage saying it is working to fix the problem.

So yeah, it’s not your ISP, Twitter was/is down. Hopefully, this is sorted out soon so that you can continue following the results of the Kenyan elections.

Twitter says the outage was due to an internal systems change that didn’t go as planned. The change has been rolled back and now your tweets should be loading as expected.
