Huawei nova 9 SE now available for pre-order in Kenya


Huawei Mobile Kenya is gearing up to launch the HUAWEI nova 9 SE smartphone in Kenya next month. Ahead of the launch, the company has today announced that the device is now available for pre-order.

Customers can pre-order the HUAWEI nova 9 SE from all retail stores across the country including Huawei Experience stores for Kshs 39,999. Those who pre-order will also get free Band 4 series. 

“Inheriting the aesthetics and powerful performance of its predecessors, the HUAWEI nova 9 SE is finally making its debut. The new smartphone has a High-Res camera system underpinning the outstanding photography experience it offers and runs EMUI 12. Given the popularity of videos in social media today, it also brings creative vlogging experiences that are highly sought after by the youth.” Huawei Mobile Kenya Country Head Jim Zhujie said. 

Huawei nova 9 SE comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1,080×2,388 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we are getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor alongside some 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage

The nova 9 SE is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery.

For the cameras, the ova 9 SE on the rear packs a quad-camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel (f/1.79) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. 

The nova 9 SE runs EMUI 12  and comes in Crystal Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colour options.
